Noel M. Barnes joined the Woodruff Arts Center as Chief Financial Officer in July 2013. He is a licensed Georgia CPA who was most recently the Chief Administrative Officer for Edge Capital Partners, LLC in Atlanta. Edge provides investment advisory and banking services to individuals, foundations and corporate clients. Prior to that role, Noel was the Chief Financial Officer for Rotunda Corporation (formerly EzGov, Inc.), a software solutions company that provides software and professional services to federal, state and local governments. He has also held the roles of Director of Finance & Accounting and Corporate Controller for Retx, Inc. Mr. Barnes began his financial career as an auditor and accountant for Arthur Anderson, LLP. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Georgia and a degree in Accounting from Georgia State University, graduating Cum Laude.
Mr. Barnes serves on the board of trustees of the Mount Vernon Presbyterian School in Sandy Springs, Georgia. He is an active volunteer with the Sandy Springs Youth Sports League, the First Peachtree Presbyterian Youth Program, and the Empty Stocking Fund. Noel is also a Buckhead Christian Ministry money management coach. He lives in Sandy Springs with his wife and two children.
