April 25, 2009 - Woodruff Salutes Leaders Recognition Event 4.25.09

On April 25th, 2009, the Woodruff Arts Center recognized the 2009 Woodruff Salutes Arts in Education Leaders honorees – Chris Gore, Dawson County High School; Ron Marstall, Riverwood International Charter School; Christine Thompson, Luella Elementary School; Debi West, North Gwinnett High School; and DeKalb School for the Arts. Guest speaker Kathy Cox, Superintendent of Schools (Georgia), spoke on the impact of arts in education. A reception was held following the program.
