Internships

Internships have been an integral part of the Woodruff Arts Center for many years. Internships are important in supporting the developing careers of individuals interested in the nonprofit sector generally and to broaden an interest in the Arts specifically. Woodruff Arts Center internships vary in duration. The duration and time commitment of the internship is dependent upon the sponsoring Woodruff Arts Center department/ division and project.

We offer both paid and unpaid internships. Our internships provide substantive experience and interns are provided an opportunity to participate in most aspects of the organization—staff meetings, board meeting and the like to get full exposure to the nonprofit organizational environment. Selected interns must be at least 16 years of age and able to pass a basic background check.

Interns may apply for an internship opportunity in the Woodruff Arts Center Administrative Offices or one of our four divisions: The High Museum of Art, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Alliance Theatre and Arts for Learning.
