The Woodruff Arts Center invited community art partners and local art organizations back to participate in their 2nd annual Community Engagement Day on March 28, 2009. This free event gave eight performing groups an opportunity to showcase their talents while providing a rich, cultural arts experience on the Woodruff Arts Center's campus. The groups that performed were: Dance Canvas, Giwayen Mata, Atlanta Chinese Dance Company, Kan Kali Danz Group, CAO Ying Dancing School, Still Waters Youth Sinfo-Nia, Peachtree Band of Jazz, S.E.P.E.G Theatrical Productions and Patty Mack and the Mo White Quintet.
