Marketing Coordinator (Regular/Full-time)

The marketing coordinator will support the marketing, sales and communications team with primary responsibility for classical, family and education programming. Support Atlanta Symphony Hall LIVE team for select programs/projects. Implementation of integrated marketing plans to drive attendance and audience growth.


Work Schedule:

·         Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm with some nights and weekends as required.



·       Responsible for e-mail campaign management. Work in partnership with the database manager to deliver effective, relevant and engaging communication to key audiences.

·       Responsible for trafficking and placement of creative for advertising plan. Working with the publications director (in-house creative), the marketing team to insure creative is on message, meets specifications and is on deadline. Work with colleagues to gain necessary institutional approvals.

·       Responsible for ongoing placement of promotional ASO signage in the Woodruff Arts Center.

·       Responsible for coding of invoices, tracking and reconciliation of the classical marketing budget.

·       Build relationships both internally and externally – ASO departments, media partners, community partners, Woodruff Arts Center partners, vendors, etc.

·       Assist in copywriting for digital, print, native advertising, website, email communications and promotional pieces.  

·       Support the marketing, communications, digital and social team as needed with implementation of the classical marketing plan, as well as education and family programming.

·       Assist in managing promotional partnerships – promotional ticketing programs, radio promotions, etc.

·       Staff concerts and events as necessary. 

·       Represent the ASO at community events, festivals, and meetings.

·       Create and manage Classical Symphony Hall Slide Show. 

·       Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

·       Bachelor’s Degree in English, Advertising, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or other relevant field.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

·       Interest in music and the arts.


Skills and Abilities:

·       Strong oral and written communications skills.

·       Ability to handle and balance many responsibilities in a calm and efficient manner, with a high level of attention to detail.

·       High level of self direction, self-motivation and ability to set priorities.

·       Creative, team player.

·       Ability to solve practical problems with minimal supervision.
