Atlanta Community Shares Transformation Campaign’s Success

Atlanta Community Spreads the word about The Woodruff Arts Center’s Successful Transformation Campaign

Atlanta Business Chronicle:
The record-breaking campaign ended up receiving a multimillion dollar undisclosed gift from the Coca-Cola Co. (NYSE: KO) to support the renovation of the Alliance Theatre. As a result, the main stage will be named the Coca-Cola Stage at the Alliance Theatre when the renovated venue opens in the fall of 2018. Read More.

AJC: Virginia Hepner, president and CEO of the Woodruff, announced Wednesday that the arts center has met and surpassed its goal 18 months ahead of schedule, raising $110 million with the assistance of familiar individual and corporate partners and a million-dollar gift from the city of Atlanta. ARTSATL: Woodruff also received a $1 million contribution from the City of Atlanta. And, as was reported last week, the Delta Air Lines Foundation pledged $2.5 million to the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra’s Musicians’ Endowment Fund in a campaign that raised $25 million to permanently endow 11 musician positions.
