Join us to celebrate the new Veterans Alcove, located near Symphony Hall. 

Dedication ceremony is at 7PM at the Alcove, with nationally-renowned artist Steve Penley.

Friday Night Jazz (LIVE), 6PM – 10PM
The best date night in Atlanta! See the High’s newly-installed permanent collection while enjoying drinks and live jazz in the Museum.

Matthew Morrison with the ASO, 8PM
Hear famed Broadway and Glee singer Matthew Morrison perform
live with your GRAMMY-winning Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.

Knead, Hertz Stage, 8PM
Visit Atlanta’s “underground theatre” to see this new, award-
winning play about the unpredictability of just about everything.


To claim your free tickets, present your veterans ID at the Woodruff Arts Center Box Office (for Theatre or Symphony) or the High Museum Ticket Desk.

Parking in the Arts Center deck is free with veterans ID, but use of Lyft or MARTA is strongly encouraged. Offers based on availability.


Free Performance Tickets

Experience the world-class music of the Grammy-winning Atlanta Symphony Orchestra or the talent of the Tony Award-winning Alliance Theatre with:

  • Free tickets to Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Delta Classical Series performances. Tickets are available at The Woodruff Box Office beginning seven (7) days in advance of the performance, with presentation of valid military/veterans ID. Offer based on availability.
  • Free tickets to Alliance Theatre productions during the 2017/2018 offsite season are available at The Woodruff Box Office or at the host venue’s ticket office beginning seven (7) days in advance of the performance with presentation of valid military/veterans ID. Offer based on availability.

Free Admission to the High Museum of Art

The Southeast’s leading art museum opens its doors to veterans or active military personnel with free admission on all public days. Please present valid military or veterans ID for up to 2 tickets per household for the High Museum of Art.

Free Parking

Parking is free for veterans and military families in The Woodruff Parking Garage, which is accessible from Arts Center Way and directly behind the High Museum. Please present a valid veterans or military ID. As parking may be limited, The Woodruff encourages the use of ride-sharing and MARTA. 

Youth & Continuing Education Scholarships

Military service involves an entire family—that’s why children of veterans can receive scholarships for Alliance Theatre, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and High Museum of Art! Limit one class or camp per household per year.

Community Performances

The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra sends quartets and other ensembles to military bases and Veterans Administration hospitals to bring the inspiration of great music directly to our veterans and service members.
