Bossa Nova Baby
An immersive sensory exhibition that transports families to the heart of the Brazilian rainforest
This inaugural installation celebrates the wonders of the forest floor—where frogs and fungi lead the way through a world of light and sound.
Visitors are invited to splash in a projection-mapped river, interact with a glowing rainbow fiberoptic display, and discover the rhythms of the canopy by playing handcrafted instruments. From snuggling into 'hug wall' vines to lounging among giant frog pillows, this lush environment offers a vibrant space for early learners to explore, rest, and play. Babies: Off-Book!
Shake up your weekly routine with this sensory story time for infants and toddlers. Families bring their favorite stories to life through rhyme, song, and tactile props. Alliance Theatre teaching artists guide you through a multi-sensory experience engaging the voice, body, and imagination.
Lullaby Project
Create and sing personal lullabies for your baby with the help of professional musicians and Alliance Theatre teaching artists. Creating, singing, and sharing lullabies promotes overall family well-being by supporting caregiver and maternal health, early child development, and parent-child bonding.
BabyWearing Dance
A joyful way to move, bond, and build strength with your baby. Dance safely while snuggled close, enjoying upbeat music and a supportive, fun-filled environment. Postpartum-safe cardio designed to help you regain strength and confidence while keeping your little one entertained.
Origin Stories
Explore poems, stories, and imagination together in a safe, supportive space that strengthens the bond between caregivers and children while nurturing language development and emotional intelligence. Story Yoga
Introduce your early learner to the magic of movement and mindfulness. This 30-minute session led by a certified yoga instructor uses creative yoga poses to act out beloved stories, enhancing balance and coordination. Build strength, flexibility, and early literacy skills in a supportive, imaginative environment.
Baby Rave ATL
A sensory dance party for little ones and their caregivers! Led by a composer/sound artist and a dancer/choreographer, this research-driven experience nurtures early development through movement, music, and playful connection. Highly inclusive—everyone is welcome on the dance floor!
Meet the Musician
Your little one can meet a musician with their instrument and learn more about the sounds they make, while gaining inspiration from hearing them played in a toddler-friendly setting. Meet a new musician with their instrument each week!

Additional parking options for evenings, weekends, and other peak visiting times are available at the Promenade parking garage, located on 15th Street, and the Boys & Girls Club, located on Peachtree Street across from the Woodruff Arts Center.
For GPS purposes, use 1280 Peachtree Street NE. If parking in the Woodruff Arts Center Parking Garage, you will pull a ticket when you enter and pay when you leave.

Yes. The Arts Center can be easily accessed by public transportation at the Arts Center MARTA station (N5), across from the Woodruff Arts Center Parking Garage on Arts Center Way.

You can pre-register (opens in new tab) for your visit if you want to plan ahead. Walk-ups are also welcome.

What if the PNC PlaySpace is at capacity? +
You may be asked to wait in the lobby until the PNC PlaySpace has room. Feel free to explore the beautiful Sifly Piazza located between the Memorial Arts Building and High Museum of Art.

Can we bring food or snacks into the PNC PlaySpace? +
To keep the PNC PlaySpace clean, safe, and enjoyable for every child, we ask that no food or drinks be brought inside. We have multiple spaces for snack breaks:

Yes! We have a private room available. Please ask the concierge for more information.

Yes, we have a designated parking space adjacent to the PNC PlaySpace in The Selig Family Park & Play.

Can I drop off my child at the PNC PlaySpace? +
No, caregivers are required to stay with their children throughout their visit to the PNC PlaySpace.

Can I enter the PNC PlaySpace without a child? +
For the safety of our guests, we require that adults be accompanied by children.

How often are surfaces cleaned in the PNC PlaySpace? +
Surfaces are cleaned and sanitized multiple times throughout each day and again at the end of each day. The PNC PlaySpace is closed every Monday for a deep cleaning.
