As a longtime partner of the Woodruff Arts Center, Georgia Power is deeply committed to transforming Atlanta and the state of Georgia through the Power of Art. The Woodruff Arts Center’s commitment to lifelong education through the arts has an impact that will last generations.
Studies show students who participate in learning through the arts experience improved academic performance, enhanced social skills and greater engagement with school and peers. At a time when mental health is paramount to collective well-being, the arts provide an engaging, creative outlet for all. This is one of the many reasons why I’m proud to serve as Chair of the 2022-2023 Woodruff Arts Center Corporate Campaign. I’m also pleased to announce that Georgia Power has committed a $1,000,000 leadership gift to the Arts Center in support of arts education initiatives.
The Woodruff Arts Center, one of the state’s largest arts educators, has long relied on the generous support of Georgia’s business community. As the theatre, symphony and museum expand their reach and access to arts education across Georgia, the commitment of the business community is more critical than ever.
