Woodruff Arts Center Network Outage and Incident Update

In April, The Woodruff Arts Center, including the Alliance Theatre, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the High Museum of Art, experienced a network security incident from an unauthorized third-party that resulted in a significant IT outage. This affected many of the Center’s operations and systems. Upon learning of the incident, the Arts Center immediately took steps to secure our systems and began working to implement enhanced security measures. The team also began an investigation, and an outside forensics firm was engaged to assist in the effort. Law enforcement has been notified. Please note that there is no evidence that any personal or financial information has been accessed, and review of this matter remains ongoing.


The Alliance Theatre, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the High Museum of Art all continued to remain open for performances and visits throughout the network outage.  


Tickets for performances were quickly made available and remain available for purchase at the Woodruff Arts Center Box Office and High Museum of Art at 1280 Peachtree Street and online through the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Alliance Theatre websites.

A: Tickets are available for purchase by phone at 404-733-5000 and at the Woodruff Arts Center Box Office and High Museum Guest Relations at 1280 Peachtree Street and online at the Alliance Theatre and Atlanta Symphony Orchestra websites .


Q: When will I be able to buy tickets online or by phone?
A:. You can do that now! Tickets are available by phone at 404-733-5000 and for purchase at the Woodruff Arts Center Box Office and High Museum Guest Relations at 1280 Peachtree Street. The Box Office is open from 12-6 p.m. (Tuesday to Sunday), and the High Museum is open from 10 a.m.. – 5 p.m. (Tuesday through Thursday and Saturday), 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. (Friday), and from noon – 5 p.m. (Sunday). Alliance Theatre and Atlanta Symphony Orchestra tickets are available on their websites . Patrons are encouraged to visit all of our websites for the latest information about ticketing and performances.
